The PUHS Symphonic Band is a performing ensemble consisting of members of the woodwind, brass, and percussion families of instruments. This ensemble meets daily during the regular school schedule. The PHUHS Symphonic Band performs in several school concerts, Music Performance Assessments, and community concerts each year. The Symphonic Band consistently performs at a Superior level at FBA assessments. In 2024, the Symphonic Band qualified for the FBA State Assessment.

Our ensemble consistently has over a dozen members make the Pinellas All County Bands and/or the Florida All State Bands.
